Productiv closes fiscal year with strong momentum
Zero customer churn and executive additions equip company for success in 2021
PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 9, 2021 – Productiv, the leading enterprise SaaS Management Platform, today announced impressive momentum on the close of its first full fiscal year in market. In the past twelve months, the company has more than doubled in headcount, added an impressive roster of enterprise customers including DocuSign, Kayak, PagerDuty, SentinelOne, Robinhood, and GlobalLogic, and brought on technology industry veteran Aashish Chandarana as Chief Information Officer.
Productiv helps enterprises understand how employees engage with software to work and collaborate. By going deeper than analyzing simple login data, Productiv more precisely defines application engagement (what happens after a user logs in) down to the user- and feature-level. This enables smarter decisions, more efficient renewals, and more intelligent license management, and increases SaaS value and data-driven application adoption.
“Productiv is easy to set up, intuitive and visual, and enterprise-grade,” said Mike Hamilton, VP and Head of IT, Databricks. “Before, it was almost impossible to get an accurate pulse on our software landscape and adoption, but now Productiv helps us drive adoption of our top apps through feature and team-level analytics, get visibility in to all apps so we limit to only apps that employees actually use, and automate repetitive tasks like license management.”
Additional milestones in the past year include:
- Launching Productiv Essentials, the only free SaaS management product.
- Launching several new integrations to provide 360-degree app visibility; real-time SaaS subscription recommendations that dramatically simplify SaaS decisions; deep insights on user and team usage; and an intuitive way for IT and Procurement to take charge of vendor relationships.
- Launching the Productiv Partner Network to help SaaS vendors increase application adoption, strengthen product differentiation, and leverage analytics for decision-making.
- Managing billions of dollars in SaaS spend and delivering on hundreds of thousands of hours of increased employee productivity.
In addition to more than doubling employee headcount, Productiv also added technology industry veteran Aashish Chandarana as Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining Productiv, Chandarana was SVP Technology Partnerships & Investments at Fox Corporation, where he built the digital business plan for the company, redefined its relationships with technology partners, and orchestrated the technology aspects of the complex split of the 21st Century Fox and Disney businesses as part of a $70bn transaction, while also building the new Fox’s technology operations and infrastructure.
At Productiv, Chandarana will work closely with customers as they transform their collaboration strategies to account for the pervasive growth of enterprise SaaS applications. He will also leverage his deep industry expertise and market foresight to help align the company’s product and go-to-market strategies with the needs of enterprise CIOs.
“2020 was a transformational year for SaaS adoption across the entire industry and our momentum demonstrates that CIOs and business technology leaders are looking for ways to drive greater business value from their SaaS investments,” said Jody Shapiro, co-founder and CEO, Productiv. “I could not be more proud of our team, and Aash betting on Productiv will only further accelerate this momentum and build on our growth in 2021.”
“Over my career, I have seen the transformative impact that SaaS applications like Slack, Zoom, Okta, and Box have had on the way people work and collaborate together. Collaboration that used to happen in conference rooms and hallways is now happening in applications, and CIOs are searching for a digital approach to measure the effectiveness of those applications and drive better outcomes for their teams and businesses as a whole” said Chandarana. “Jody and the team at Productiv have built an enterprise-class platform that enables CIOs to drive those outcomes, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the team and work closely with our customers to unlock enterprise productivity.”
