Jody Shapiro builds Productiv to better manage SaaS applications

Companies of all sizes deploy multiple SaaS applications, with each part of the organisation utilising their own specialised tools. The average employee works with 8 different applications, with companies on average using 137.

Gartner is projecting that by 2022, global SaaS spending will reach nearly $140 billion — up from just over $100 billion in 2020. The growth comes despite the Pandemic caused economic downturn.

The burgeoning growth in the market is good news for Productiv, a platform created to help companies manage their ever-growing list of applications. “Every company has more SaaS today than they did a year ago. They’re spending more money on it. And more and more of it is getting brought into the organisation outside of IT. So it has been essentially a democratisation of the process where everybody is trying, adopting, bringing things in; and relatedly employee experience is more important than ever,” says Jody Shapiro, CEO and co-founder of Productiv.
